Step 1

Apply a leave-in conditioner like Nexxus Color Assure Leave-in Spray to damp hair; it protects color from fading and provides hair with all-day hydration.

Step 2

Before blow drying, apply Nexxus Mousse Plus directly to hair, pressing the product into hair from roots to ends to create lasting volume and hold.

Step 3

Part hair in the center and back-comb at the crown to get a bit of added lift. Then add waves by using a curling iron to bend the hair back at the jaw line.

Step 4

Easily transform this look into a romantic updo, by creating a chic, loose bun. Gather hair into a low ponytail, leaving the front loose enough to drape over your ears, and secure in the back with an elastic. Pull out a few pieces in the front to frame your face.

Step 5

Twist the tail portion into a tight rope and wrap around the ponytail base. Tuck ends in and use a couple of spiral bobby pins to secure the style in place. Finish off the look with a strong hold hairspray like Nexxus Maxximum for lasting control and shine.
