Does Nexxus have any shipping location exclusions?

Orders will only be shipped and delivered to addresses located within the United States, excluding PO Boxes. Nexxus will not ship to U.S. territories, military & air force bases and Canada. An order may only be shipped to one delivery address. Multiple Shipments

How are sales taxes handled on the site?

All prices shown on the site are in U.S. Dollars and are exclusive of applicable sales tax. Sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped to New York, and New Jersey, and is calculated based on the shipping address on your order. No sales tax is applied to shipments to any other states.

I placed an order but didn't receive an order confirmation. Did you receive my order?

You will receive a confirmation email from us when you place an order. First, check that the order confirmation email has not gone into the trash or spam folders in your email account. If you still have no confirmation, all successful orders will also be shown in the Order History section of your account. If an order is not visible in this section then it is likely that the order has been unsuccessful. There are a number of reasons why an order hasn’t been successful. It could be due to the payment not being accepted or the order being placed under a different account. If you wish to double check whether an order has been placed, please contact Nexxus Customer Service at 1-877-404-4960 and we will be happy to investigate this further for you.

Can I amend my order after it has been placed?

Once you submit an order on the Site, unless you submit a cancellation within 2 hours we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations, because of the speed and efficiency of our order processing and fulfilment. If you would like to make changes to, or cancel, your order, please call Nexxus Customer Service at 1-877-404-4960 between 8:30 am – 11:00 pm ET Monday through Friday, or 11:00 am – 7:00 pm ET Saturday and Sunday, or email Nexxus Customer Service at cancel@nexxus.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Any cancelled order will be promptly refunded.

Payments & Security

What payment types does Nexxus accept online?

We accept a range of credit and debit cards as well as PayPal payment. All payments are made securely through our payment provider Adyen and no billing information is stored by Nexxus.

Is my personal information kept safe with Nexxus?

Please read our privacy policy. Nexxus takes a number of measures to prevent fraudulent use of credit cards and other online payment systems. If you believe your card has been used for a purchase with Nexxus without your permission, please call Nexxus Customer Service at 1-877-404-4960.

How do I use a promotional code?

You can enter the applicable promotional code in the ‘Promotional Code’ box either in the bag (basket) or during the checkout process, before you submit your order. The value of the promotion will be applied to your order (and will be displayed as a separate line item). Please note, the terms and conditions for each promotion will vary, most of our promotions last for a limited time, have associated codes that can only be used once per customer and cannot be combined with other offers. Promotional shipping offers will apply to orders that meet the particular promotional guidelines, such as the applicable merchandise total (before tax and shipping/handling charges are applied) and the requirement that the order be shipped to a single address. Generally, shipping promotions will only apply to standard shipping, unless otherwise noted.

* Standard Delivery –You may select standard delivery for all destinations in the 48 contiguous states. Items will arrive within 3-5 business days for most items that are in stock, excluding Alaska & Hawaii, which will arrive within 10-15 days. Please note that your package will not be delivered on a national holiday, and that national holidays may impact delivery times.

* Express Delivery – You may select express delivery for destinations in the 48 contiguous states, if you place your order by 2:30 pm ET Monday through Thursday, your order will arrive within 2 to 3 business days. If you place your order after 2:30 pm ET Thursday through Sunday, your order will be shipped on Monday and will arrive 2 to 3 business days after the date of shipment. Please note that your package will not be delivered on a national holiday, and that national holidays may impact delivery times.

Will I have to pay duties or taxes on my order?

Sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped to New York, and New Jersey, and is calculated based on the shipping address on your order. No sales tax is applied to shipments to any other states. Nexxus is not liable for any additional duties, taxes or surcharges that you may have to pay on delivery to your State. If you are unsure, we recommend checking with local authorities before placing your order.

How do I return or exchange an item I purchased online?

Please visit our terms of sale page for details on how to return an item.

You may return your unopened online purchase for a full refund of the merchandise value within fourteen (14) days after the date of purchase. After fourteen (14) days, you may return your unopened online purchase for a merchandise credit, so long as such items are returned within thirty (30) days after the date of purchase. Your credit will only be valid for use on this Site.

To initiate your return, please contact Nexxus Customer Service at 1-877-404-4960 between 8:30 am – 11:00 pm ET Monday through Friday, or 11:00 am – 7:00 pm ET Saturday and Sunday, or email Nexxus Customer Service at returns@nexxus.com, , and they will provide you with return instructions.

Unfortunately, items purchased on this Site cannot be returned to a Nexxus retail location or stockist, and items purchased at a Nexxus retail location or stockist can only be returned to the location where you made your purchase.

Do you offer product exchanges?

Any unopened item(s) purchased on this Site, or received as a gift ordered through this Site, may be exchanged within thirty (30) days after the date of purchase.

In order to complete the exchange, please call Nexxus Customer Service at 1-877-404-4960 between 8:30 am – 11:00 pm ET Monday through Friday, or 11:00 am – 7:00 pm ET Saturday and Sunday, or email Nexxus Customer Service at exchange@nexxus.com, and they will provide you with instructions to return the merchandise by mail for a refund or credit and place a new order for substitute item(s).

Do Nexxus products expire?

All products should be stored at room temperature and used within 3 years of their manufacturing date in order to maintain their best performance.
The following is an example of the manufacturing code you will see on your products:
Manufacturing Code format : EXAMPLE: 03256HU01 = MMDDY/PLANT CODE = March 25, 2016

Which products are safe for colour treated hair?

All Nexxus shampoos and conditioners are safe to use on color-treated hair.
Our products have a proprietary technology that counteracts color fade!

Do your products contain gluten?

Gluten is a protein found in wheat, rye, barley and processed oats.
If any wheat, rye, barley or oat-derived raw materials are in our products, they would be listed on the labels. This includes any hydrolyzed protein from wheat, rye, barley or oats which may contain gluten. Please see the SmartLabel icon featured in the footer of the website.

We recommend that you consult with your physician as to whether use of grain derivatives in personal care products will cause the symptoms of Celiac-Sprue Disease.
